Bodily Play // Sound Installation // Engaging Experience
Uncanny Playground is a sound installation developed over one week. The installation unfolds a hidden sound space that can be explored by throwing balls up in the air. Uncanny Playground supports a collaborative and playful attitude.
A Kinect detects the ball and a Processing sketch provides different sounds dependent on the position of the ball.
Exhibited at Kulturnattan 2015 at the IT-University of Copenhagen.
A Kinect detects objects that come into an invisible space above the height of people.
